Situated at 546 Main Street, Eastwood 546 Main Street was one of the first of the island’s developments. This high rise spans around 1,000 units-a quarter of which are admirably devoted to disabled and elderly tenants. Managed by Urban American, this 1976 creation is one of ten buildings in the complex and was made by the architect, Josep Lluis Sert. The development was originally one of the so-called WIRE buildings and was a part of Northtown. Boasting of an attended lobby, Eastwood 546 Main Street has laundry facilities within the building and elevator service. Step inside the complex at 546 Main Street and discover a piece of Roosevelt Island’s past.
