Mass transit in the area is not it's strong suit, with only 1 local bus and two express buses operating. The express buses only run during rush hour. In 1985, the New York Public Library opened up a branch in the neighborhood. A bit older, the Woodrow United Methodist Church first opened in 1771. It was the first Methodist church in the NYC area.
