Share Info About City of Orange
Orange, New Jersey is a town in Essex County that shares its borders with the other three "Oranges". Situated northwest of Newark, Orange is a fairly mixed-use neighborhood, with residential and commercial sections. NJ apartments can be found in abundance, especially near the downtown area, though Orange apartments exist in just about every enclave of town. Residents of Orange apartments who commute into Manhattan will find it very easy to do so. Simply catch a New York Penn Station bound NJ Transit train from the Brick Church Station, and relax on your 27 minute trip into Midtown. A sunken Highway 280 runs through Orange, providing residents with easy driving access to the Garden State Parkway, Newark, Jersey City, and New York City. Residents of Orange apartments can find plenty to do in and around town. The South Mountain Reservation is one great attraction that is located to the southwest of the neighborhood, bordering South Orange. At over 2,000 acres, this reservation is situated in the Watchung Mountains, and has been preserved much to its original, and natural, state.
