Share Info About Bensonhurst
NY apartments are sometimes lumped together with other listings in other nearby communities, especially Bath Heights, Dyker Heights, or Borough Park. But Bensonhurst is a distinct neighborhood with well-established boundaries: Stillwell Avenue and 86th Street to the south (and Gravesend and Bath Beach); 13th Avenue to the west (and Dyker Heights); 60th Street to the north (and Borough Park); and McDonald Avenue to the east (and Midwood). Many people refer to the area as Brooklyn's Little Italy, and the community's main commercial strip on 18th Avenue is lined with locally-owned Italian restaurants, cafes, butchers, and many other businesses. Every year, thousands of New Yorkers flock to Bensonhurst for the annual end-of-summer celebration, the Festa di Santa Rosalia.
