179 Starr Street has been totally gut-renovated, and everything is brand new with bamboo floors, lots of exposed brick, high ceilings, and pre-wired for cable. The apartment has 3 bedrooms, all with closets and windows, a large living room with a window and closet, and separate kitchen (with windows and stainless steel appliances, including a dishwasher). There is also a laundry room and bike storage in the building, each apartment has its own private storage room in the basement, and all tenants have ROOF ACCESS with awesome views of all of Manhattan.
The building is just a block away from the Jefferson Street stop on the L and a short walk to either the Morgan stop on the L or the Central Ave stop on the M train. Union Square is 20 minutes away, Williamsburg is less than 10 mins, and anywhere in Manhattan is less than 40 minutes. The building is across the street from Maria Hernandez Park, which was renovated in 2003. Knickerbocker Ave retail is very close (a huge supermarket is at the end of the block), and there are numerous new bars and restaurants (including Northeast Kingdom, Tandem, Wyckoff Starr, Roberta's) within a couple blocks walk.
We are the owners of the building, we manage it ourselves, and we own a few other buildings in the neighborhood, so we are always available. We do have to run a credit check, but we are also flexible to different circumstances. Students, shares, and guarantors are welcome.
